Cabo de Gata Natural Park

ISUB Discover Cabo de Gata, buried deep in the most arid area of all of Europe and the first place of maritime-land character throughout the entire Community of Andalusia.

ISUB This is one of the most amazing landscapes of the Almeria coastline. The beauty of the mountains, the cliffs, and the hidden and solitary coves make this a unique destination for every visitor.

ISUB One of the greatest wealth of this natural space is under the sea. The marine bottoms are formed by prairies of oceanic Posidonia.

ISUB In these submarine green extensions find food and shelter numerous species of crustaceans, moluscs and fishes.

Cabo de Gata Wreck Dive

ISUB It's a merchant steam ship, and is 100-meters long. It sunk at 1928 when it collided with a natural rock sitting at a depth of 3 meters, and located near the Cabo de Gata Lighthouse.

ISUB At the dive site, enjoy seeing snappers, pollacks, grouper, ocean sunfish, barracudas, eagle rays.

ISUB The portside is also open allowing divers to access the cellars, where you will find morays, brown meagres, moray eels, conger eels, white breams, and many red sea fish.
