Dive BuddyThe DIBA Dive Buddy course is designed to train
certified divers to accompany disabled divers.
DIVE BUDDY
Prerequisites of the Course:
It is recommended that trained Dive Buddy who are friends, family, etc., follow the training course of the person with whom they plan to dive later. The training also qualifies to be an efficient diving assistant.
Be at least 16 years old (when starting the course). Send a copy of a medical certificate, signed by a doctor and specify: ;This person is suitable fordiving. The medical examination must have been done within the last 12 months.
Send proof of the Open Water Diver diving title, or other entry level accreditation, issued by a recognized organization in diving education. Being able to demonstrate having done at least 40 registered dives, and experience in night diving and navigation.
The candidate must certify having received training as a Rescue diver.
The candidate must certify having received training in First Aid and CPR within the last 24 months.
We will also need a passport-size photo.
